Frequently asked questions
I can't find my company
If you cannot find your company in the search results, there could be several reasons:
- 1Recently registered company: it can take days or weeks before new registrations appear in our search database.
- 2Search method: try the full company name, the registration number, or a partial name. The registry name can differ from the trading name.
- 3Regional differences: make sure the correct country code is selected, because our search is country-specific.
If it still fails, contact our support team with your company details.
My VAT number gives an error
Check the format first. NL VAT numbers look like NL123456789B01, BE numbers like BE0123456789. If you use the KOR (Kleineondernemersregeling) you must tick the VAT-exempt option, otherwise validation fails. If the format is correct and the error persists, send a screenshot to info@finqle.com.
My ID verification was rejected
Common reasons:
- Glare or blur on the document photo
- Selfie does not match the document photo (lighting, glasses, hat)
- Document expired
- Document type not supported: we accept a passport or driver's license, not ID cards from outside the EU
Retake the photos in good light, remove glasses or headwear, and submit again. If it fails twice, contact your Account Manager.
I'm signing on behalf of the company, what do I need?
You must be authorised to sign according to the KVK extract (tekenbevoegd). If you are not the sole director, you may need a second signer or a power of attorney (volmacht). The onboarding flow tells you when this applies. Have a recent KVK extract handy.
I started onboarding but want to switch to KOR mid-way
If you have not yet completed onboarding, go back to the company details step and tick the VAT-exempt (KOR) option. If onboarding is already finished, email info@finqle.com with the subject KOR activation and include your KOR confirmation from the Belastingdienst.
I haven't received the invitation email
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is still missing, confirm with your Account Manager (direct setup) or your platform or intermediary (indirect setup) that the invitation went to the correct email address. We can re-send it on request.
