How Billing Requests work in Finqle for debtors: reviewing timesheet details (hours, rates, project info) before approving or rejecting, and how approved requests automatically become supplier invoices.
Approval process
When you receive a Billing Request you can review the timesheet details, including:
- Hours worked or services provided
- Applied rates
- Project information
- Any additional notes or attachments
From there you decide to approve or reject the Billing Request. Approving triggers the next phase in the invoicing lifecycle.
Conversion to invoices
Once Billing Requests are approved, Finqle automatically converts them into invoices for your supplier. No additional action is required from you.
Disapproving a Billing Request
If something is incorrect, click Disapprove. Providing a reason is mandatory: Finqle requires a disapproval reason so the merchant knows exactly what to correct before resubmitting.
Can I edit a Billing Request?
No. As a debtor you cannot edit a Billing Request submitted by a merchant. If a detail is wrong, disapprove it with a clear reason instead. The merchant then revises the details and resubmits a new Billing Request for your review.
