How Finqle handles your personal and company data, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your privacy rights.

- Finqle processes your company, contact, banking and ID data to provide invoicing and factoring services.
- Financial records are kept for 7 years, ID documents for 5 years after account closure, support tickets for 2 years. These are all Dutch legal minimums.

Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data while a request is reviewed.
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to specific processing, such as marketing.
How to make a request
Email privacy@finqle.com with:
- Your company name and KVK number
- The specific request (access, correction, deletion, export, objection)
- A way to verify your identity if the request involves sensitive data
We respond within 30 days, the legal maximum under GDPR.
International transfers and sub-processors
Finqle is a Dutch company and hosts data within the EU. Where a sub-processor is used, for example a KYC or payment partner, it is bound by a Data Processing Agreement equivalent to GDPR requirements. A full sub-processor list is available on request.
FAQ
Can I get my data deleted immediately?
Only for data without a legal retention requirement, such as marketing preferences. Financial and identity records must be kept for the periods above regardless of your request.
Does closing my account delete my data right away?
No. Closure stops new processing, but financial and identity records are retained for the periods listed above. See Closing my Finqle account.
